By engaging Lacoste Towing & Storage LLc for transport, delivery, or warehousing, you're agreeing to the parameters set forth in this master agreement. It's not just legal jargon; it's the framework of our partnership. Our goal is to ensure that both parties understand the liabilities, responsibilities, and protocols of modern freight transport.
Have you reviewed the specific limitations regarding cargo insurance and transit times? While we pride ourselves on speed, safety remains our non-negotiable priority. Under these terms, "Transit" begins when our team confirms the load and ends upon the digital signature of the consignee.
1. Carrier Liability
Lacoste Towing & Storage LLc maintains comprehensive carrier liability insurance, but it's vital to note that limits apply based on commodity types. We don't just ship boxes; we move your business. Standard liability is calculated per pound unless a higher value is declared in advance.
2. Delivery Windows
Transit times are estimates. We're masters of logistics, but we're also bound by DOT regulations and safety protocols. Delays caused by weather, port congestion, or force majeure are handled with immediate communication. We'll always keep you in the loop.
3. Warehousing & Custody
Items stored in our 16085 East River Drive facility are under 24/7 surveillance. Custody transfer is documented at every touchpoint. Proper packaging remains the shipper's responsibility; however, we're happy to consult on freight preparation to minimize risk.
